Spring School Mini Sessions are BACK!
One Weekend Only - March 18-20, 2022 (Rain Dates March 25-27)
My School Sessions are outdoor mini sessions for school age children only - a fun way to upgrade your traditional school photos! Please carefully read through ALL of the information below before booking.
Who can take advantage of these sessions?
These sessions are for any school-age child, grade K and up.
What is included in your $40 session fee?
My session fee covers everything! For these special Mini-Sessions, you can expect 3 - 5 photos of your child. I deliver all images in an online gallery, and you are free to download, print, and share as you wish. I do ask that you please consider ordering prints through my recommended print houses or your chosen professional printer. Photos printed at drugstores are often off in color and may lose sharpness. I guarantee delivery of your images within 2 weeks of your session.
How do I book, and what should I expect?
These will be 5-minute sessions booked in 10-minute increments. Once you have selected an available time slot, please pay to secure your reservation. I will reach out about a week before the session to confirm and give you the location, which will be within 15 minutes of downtown Poolesville. As these slots are brief, please arrive a few minutes early and have your child ready to be photographed. If you arrive late, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to accommodate your child.
What safety measures will be taken?
I will be photographing your child from a minimum of 6 feet away and will remain masked for the duration. No props will be provided for these sessions (although if you’d like to bring a sign of any sort for your child to hold, that’s fine), and all payments must be made online before you arrive. Please wait in your car until I am ready for your child. You may accompany your child while they are being photographed, but you must wear a mask and maintain a safe distance. Please do not bring other family members or pets. Siblings who are also being photographed are welcome but should remain masked until it is their turn.
Can we get a quick family photo too?
I don’t typically do Mini-Sessions, but decided to offer them during the COVID school quarantine as an option for families missing their child's traditional school photos. I had so many families ask if I would offer them again that I decided to block off a weekend this Spring! These brief sessions are for children only. If you’d like a full Family Session experience, please reach out ASAP to book that separately. Full Family Sessions include individual photos of each child as well!
